Baton Training Certification Classes

The baton training course is designed to provide students with the minimum level of proficiency to carry and use a baton while on duty as private security guards. Individuals required to obtain a baton certification are taught in the format that utilizes the skills necessary to carry on a daily basis. A baton is used to get violent and aggressive suspects under control and to deter violent aggressive behaviors. The proper use of a baton is necessary to not only deter violent and aggressive individuals and behaviors, but to reduce  lawsuits resulting in unnecessary and improper use of a baton. Proper use of a baton should abide by your State, Federal, and local laws and your company’s use of force policy. This course covers all batons on the market today any brand.

In 2004 Connecticut passed a law mandating the training & licensing of Uniformed Security Officers.

The Act also requires that all private security training must be approved and that all private security trainers be certified by The Department
of Emergency Services & Public Protection.

The lesson plan provided by LJB Security Training is approved by The Dept of Emergency Services & Public Protection who is also responsible for the licensing and registration of all security officers and private security Instructors.
