  • Certification from American Heart Association for Adult, Child & Infant CPR/First Aid/AED

The American Heart Association Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid with CPR/AED course teaches participants to recognize sudden illnesses, treat serious injury, and how to perform the lifesaving skills of CPR for adults, children, and infants with the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
This course meets the Pediatric First Aid and CPR AED requirements of the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood (OEC) for licensed childcare providers.

This course is for renewing, rectification or initial student and is considered a basic Pediatric CPR/ first-aid class Course for Connecticut Daycare workers.
There are not any official lunch breaks in this course but there will be breaks.

Who should take this CPR & first-aid class
Teachers, summer camp counselors, coaches, foster care, social workers, maritime (US Coast Guard approved) nannies, parents, grandparents, babysitters (ten years or older), construction, acupuncture students, general workplace. This course covers the State of Connecticut mandated requirements for daycare workers CPR and First Aid Certifications.

The Act also requires that all private security training must be approved and that all private security trainers be certified by The Department
of Emergency Services & Public Protection.

The lesson plan provided by LJB Security Training is approved by The Dept of Emergency Services & Public Protection who is also responsible for the licensing and registration of all security officers and private security Instructors.
